Ministry is one of the core foundations upon which Resurrection Christian Center is built. Ministries are designed to get and keep God's people invloved in the works that He has called us to. Ministry is a part of every believer's walk of faith and is a calling upon each and every one of us to fullfil according to the scriptures. For we have all been called to the ministry of reconciliation under Christ Jesus. No one is exempt.

Resurrection Christian Center offers a diverse and dynamic line up of ministries that are geared towards community and world evangelistic outreach. Each ministry is designed to fulfill God's purpose within our local body of Christ. We encourage every believer to make it a goal to become involved in the ministry where God's holy spirit has placed the burden. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We invite you to join us in our mission to reach the lost and the sick of our world through loving and compassionate sharing of the good news gospel that Jesus Christ died once and for all; has risen again and is seated at the right hand of the Father in glory, for all mankind.

Men's Fellowship Ministry

Mission Statement
To provide and promote Christian fellowship among the men of the church for spiritual, educational and social enrichment through a variety of activities and programs within the church and the community.

Motto:
I am a man. God's choice to have dominion over the earth. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Goals/Commitment:
To provide a forum for regular fellowship meetings at least monthly; to provide opportunities to meet and fellowship with new men, such as interacting together in Christian fun and meaningful activities, and to provide ministry to those outside the church.

Worship Team Ministry

Mission Statement

To advance and conduct authentic and God-honoring, life changing worship in a biblically faithful and culturally relevant way. Through this we draw the body of Christ to a close relationship with God and fellowship with believers, allowing God's Spirit to lead us in evangelizing and ministering to our local communuities and beyond.

I will work diligently relying solely on the scriptures of our Lord and Savior to bring God glory and bring people closer to Him through our worship services. There is no cause as great as this, to win souls for the kingdon of heaven.

Church Cleaning Ministry

Mission Statement

To keep the house of my Father in clean order. The work that I do as a cleaner of the house is to the honor and glory of our heavenly Father.

I will humbly pride myself in the work I do in the house of my God. I will ensure that our church is always kept in a presentable manner so that God may be glorified in it's upkeep and appreciation of our visitors. Amen.

Community Outreach Ministry (COM)

Mission Statement

Community Outreach Ministry strives to model the love of God and to meet the needs of the broken and wounded of the south Bronx by providing a spiritual and pastoral presence in the community. We act as a bridge to connect the resources of God’s people with the various needs and opportunities for ministry existing in our community.

Women's Fellowship Ministry

Sound Tech Ministry

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to provide creative and technical support through sound and multi-media equipment for Sunday services & special events.

Motto

The purpose of audio production, as far as the congregation is concerned, is to create the best worship environment possible. We are producing music for the glorification of God. We will measure our actions and motives against this.

To hold the essence of our craft in high regard for the honor and glory of God. Listen to constructive feedback and make adjustments as necessary in order to achieve the high level of sound excellence that we are capable of.

RCC Childrens Ministry

Mission Statment

Helping children, conception to eighth grade, glorify God and grow to their full potential in Christ by partnering with parents in knowing, involving, developing, and serving.

Spanish Minstry

Resurrection Christian Center's spanish ministry is dedicated to helping the larger latin community in our area come to know and understand the need which exists in each of us for a Savior which is Christ Jesus. As we model the love of God in each of us, our desire is that the testimony of our day to day lives will minister to the souls which the Lord wishes to reach.

Youth Fellowship Ministry

Mission Statement
To provide and promote Christian fellowship among the youth of the church for spiritual, educational and social enrichment through a variety of activities and programs within the church and the community.

Motto:
I am a young man/woman of God. Hand chosen by God to bring the good news that is the gospel of Jesus Christ to the young lost souls of the world.

Goals/Commitment:
To provide a forum for regular fellowship meetings and outings with the youth of our congration as well as the community. To engage in street evangelism in targeting the youth of our community and bring the word of God into their lives via dynamic worship, praise and teachings.

Usher's & Greeters Ministry

Mission Statement

To ensure the smooth operation of the church services and the peoples comfort through courteous God like manners and greetings. We are the frontline in ensuring the safety and security of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Goals/Commitment

The mannerisms exhibited by every usher can impact the frame of mind of worshippers and influence how individuals receive the preacher's message. I will keep myself in meditation on God's word for the service of an usher is to make sure that everyone is greeted with a smile and met with a joyful spirit as they enter into worship.

RCC Young Adults Ministry

Mission Statement

We are a holistic ministry committed to the edification of young people in accordance with the biblical design of Luke 2:52. This involves evangelism, discipleship, Christian education, and leadership training through the Word of God.

Goals/ Commitment

The Young Adult Ministry (YAM) promotes spiritual growth and community involvement, relational development and fellowship through ministering to young adults 18-40 years old. Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to take an active part in the youth ministry of the church, doing what I can to help others and to finish the work of the Gospel in all the world.
